Bricks and Stepping Stones

Just finished another easy scrap pattern called Bricks and Stepping Stones. It is a free download on this website. I absolutely love scrap quilts as they remind me so much of many old quilts I have seen. This one is very fast and would be a great one to teach the grandchildren! A terrific way to use up those small scraps.

You did a great job! I love the look, it reminds of the old fashioned quilts when all the ladies had were scraps.

I love both of these top two quilts. All I've ever done is patchwork quilts. Oh, I made that Southern Belle quilt for my daughter but that was 32 years ago.
I made a pattern myself for a belle with a bonnet and big skirt. I was pretty proud of it. She still has it and is saving it for her little girl.
Do you ever sell these works of art? What do you charge for quilting a blanket if you do? I bought a bag of quilting squares at an estate sale and hope to put them together. I don't know how tomachine quilt. All I've ever done is tie them off with embroidery floss. Can you help me?
